This event management system project in PHP is an open-source project which was created to help organize events with the use of PHP programming language without any additional tools required for its implementation.

Event planning is the process of creating an event or series of related events that are typically held at the same location, such as a conference, trade show, or exposition. Event planning can be done by individuals or by large organizations such as corporations, non-profits, or governments. Event planners typically have backgrounds in marketing and business development.

Requirements

  1. Download and Install any local web server such as XAMPP/WAMP.
  2. Download the provided source code zip file. (download button is located below)

Installation/Setup

  1. Open your XAMPP/WAMP's Control Panel and start Apache and MySQL.
  2. Extract the downloaded source code zip file.
  3. If you are using XAMPPcopy the extracted source code folder and paste it into the XAMPP's "htdocs" directory. And If you are using WAMPpaste it into the "www" directory.
  4. Browse the PHPMyAdmin in a browser. i.e. http://localhost/phpmyadmin
  5. Create new database naming royal_event.
  6. Import the provided SQL file. The file is known as royal_event.sql located inside the Database folder.
  7. Browse the Event Management System in a browser. i.e. http://localhost/royal%20event/royal_event/.
